Pharmacological strategies such as atropine 0.05% eye drop as directed resulted in less eyeball axial length compared to other dosages of this prescription medication. These patients are closely monitored for potential side effects.
Multifocal glasses and soft special contact lenses worn for a period of about two to three years in children between 8-13 years of age have shown to slow down myopic refractive error. But, vision may be blurry throughout the day.
